This monthly venue enables dentists to learn the value and importance of proper occlusion in everyday practice.
Upon graduating from the University of California, San Francisco in 1975, Dr. Seibert had eight years of general dentistry experience. The success of general practice was rewarding but difficulty arose in treating patients with very complicated oral problems. More clinical knowledge was needed and he applied to the Advanced Prosthodontic Program at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and completed the program in 1985. Since graduation, Dr. Seibert has been in a private prosthodontic practice in Southern California.
His twenty-three years of experience treating patients with challenging dental problems such as TMJ, full mouth rehabilitations, denture fabrication, implant restorations, as well as those requiring complicated prosthetic procedures has motivated him to form this study group.
He has completed courses from dentistry giants, including:
----> Dr. Harvey Wiff, inventor of the TMJ articulator;
----> Dr. Niles Guichet, inventor of the Denar articulator;
----> Dr. Robert L. Lee, inventor of the Panadent articulator
He has also studied with Dr. Victor Kato, a gnathologist and former director of the Stuart Gnathological Study Group of Los Angeles, on the manipulation and use of the Stuart articulator.
Dr. Seibert believes you have two educations as a dentist. The first one is the school that makes you a dentist and the second one is how to practice as a dentist. This course will concentrate on the second education.
