Dental Education Group Agenda

The courses offered will enahnce the dentist’s ability to learn the value and importance of occlusion in everyday practice. They will be taught how to manage the occlusion of a patient that is going to undergo extensive oral reconstruction. The courses will stress simple occlusal analysis and occlusal corection of a patient.

Dr. Seibert had 8 years of general dentistry experience following graduation from the University of California, San Francisco in 1975.The success of general practice was rewarding but difficulty arose in treating patients with very complicated oral problems. More clinical knowledge was needed and he applied to the Advanced Prosthodontic Program at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and completed the program in 1985. Since graduation, Dr. Seibert has been in a private prosthodontic practice in Southern California.
The purpose of the in-house meetings is to give dentists a hands-on experience in the proper procedures and implementation of those procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of malocclusion.

“Tell me and I will forget it.
Show me and I will remember half of it.
Let me do it and I will remember all of it.”

Dr. Seibert completed courses from the icons of the dentistry:
Dr. Harvey Wiff, inventor of the TMJ articulator,
Dr. Niles Guichet, inventor of the Denar articulator,
Dr. Robert Lee, inventor of the Panadent articulator.

He has studied with Dr. Victor Kato, a gnathologist and former director fo the Stuart Gnatholoigcal Study Group of Los Angeles, on the use and manipulation of the Stuart Articulator.

Dr. Seibert is founder of the Southern California Dental Education Group, an organization created to advance the post-graduate dental education of occlusal studies for the practicing dentist. He has presented nationally and internationally on the subject of occlusion.
